About HYBRID FEIS

The Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland Hybrid Feis is an annual competition for ages 5–18, blending online video submission for preliminary rounds with live, in-person finals.

The Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland has been renowned for its FEIS for over forty years. In response to COVID-19, the FEIS adopted a hybrid format and remains the highlight of the calendar, continuing to grow and develop year after year. The competition allows students across Ireland to participate by submitting recorded performances for initial adjudication, with finalists performing live. Some competitions run completely live with no online element.

Have a look through our FEIS 2026 Brochure for further information. Our 2026 finals take place on Sunday 19th April in The Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan. We wish all our valued members and their students the very best of luck!
